The Dutch Vipassana foundation is looking for old-students who would like join the team that organizes local non-center courses.
Each year the foundation organizes one or two 10-day courses at a rented site in the Netherlands.
You can help out with pre-course preparation, post-course cleanup, or joining the course as a server. There are also a number of tasks, small and large, that can be done from home.
The Vipassana Foundation consists of a board of trustees and a course organization committee whose members are dedicated old-student volunteers. The foundation organizes 10-day retreats and 1-day courses for adults at several rented locations, as well as offering Anapana-courses for children and teens.
For an old-student of Vipassana, giving service is an invaluable experience. It not only offers the satisfaction of helping others taste the nectar of the Dhamma, but also helps enormously to grow and strengthen your own meditation practice.
